Cycling and especially mountain bike racing has come a long ways since I was a kid. How frigging cool is it that we have a Colorado High School Mountain Bike Racing series and corresponding State Champsionship!?!

Belgian badass Ben Berden has been racing a lot of the US cross races this year, and finally took his big W at the Boulder Cup.

Got lucky again with more great conditions for the Colorado Cross Cup in Boulder, CO.

Took a much awaited vacation back to Florida for some R&R with my girlfriend Nancy. The highlight was a two night backcountry canoe camping trip on our own island in Canavarel National Seashore.

The Blue Sky Velo Cup race at Xilinx in Longmont, CO was a bit dusty, but the classic course drew over 600 racers!
